Your new door install, step by step.
Knowing what a new-door day looks like takes the mystery out of it. Here’s the process start to finish.
Measure and quote
We measure the opening (South Tampa’s older homes often have non-standard sizes), confirm the wind rating for your address, and quote the complete job — door, springs sized to it, tracks, and haul-away — before anything is ordered.
Removal and install
On install day we remove the old door and tracks, mount the new system, size and wind the springs to the new door’s weight, and set up the opener. A standard replacement is usually a half-day.
Balance, test, and clean up
We balance the door so it floats, test the opener’s safety reverse, program your remotes, and haul the old door away. You run it before we leave. See door replacement.
